Bisma Eight

The short film by Béton Brut portrays the compact brutalist hotel Bisma Eight in the small Indonesian city Ubud, a design by FUUR Associates in collaboration with ARTE architects & associates.

The hotel consists of a 38 room building with a series of interconnected communal areas and a strong connection to the surrounding landscape and views, all carefully curated for maximum visual impact. ArchDaily states: “Spatially compact, it tries to redefine what a hotel provides for the modern holidaymaker, the essentials of the city nomad. However, the spaces are arranged in such a way that each space feels like an escape from the other spaces, and relate to the site in its own intimate way.”
