Moving Forward

To celebrate the centenary of the founding of the Bauhaus in 2019, the Bauhaus-Archiv/Museum für Gestaltung is being renovated, with a new museum building being added.

The winner of the closed competition for the ‘Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, Berlin’ is the architectural office Staab architects, Berlin. On location at the Bauhaus-Archiv / Museum für Gestaltung, the moving forward – exhibition will present the winning design and the other designs awarded prizes in the architectural competition.
