Old city in new bloom

Urban planning designs, winter semester 08/09 of the TU Darmstadt: a decaying area of the UNESCO old city of Damascus, Syria. With small, located strategies, the district should create a new habitability, while an attractive new cultural center in a thriving park gives it the identity.
