Architecture Biennale 2016 – Reporting from the Front

Armed conflicts take mainly place in densely built-up surroundings nowadays. For Forensic Architecture this is the reason to research new methods of reading the material traces of wars. Forensic Architecture is a London based research group led by Eyal Weizman, that searches for evidence of human rights violations in war ruins. Their work lies between architecture, archeology and criminalistics. In the 2016 Architecture Biennale Weizman presents their latest findings on the American drone programme in Pakistan.
