Emscher Future master plan

Hard to imagine that nowadays in Germany, a river runs as an open, stinking sewer  in the Ruhr area at the Emscher… The conversion into the non-polluted waters, a generation project will change the landscape and region. It was awarded with the special “infrastructure and landscape” of the German Landscape Architecture Prize in 2013.
