On a visit to Istanbul Berlin based artists Folke Köbberling and Martin Kaltwasser became acquainted with the local illegal house construction, built overnight and thus – taking advantage of a loophole in the law – get the right to stay. As part of the “pilot project Gropius City” a temporary intervention, a “over-night house” of Köbberling and Kaltwasser were built.
