PABELLÓN LEBULENSE

Estudio Invasivo has built the Lebulense Pavilion, a light infrastructure for citizen meetings located provisionally on the square of Lebu, a small town in south-central Chile.

The pavilion arose in collaboration with the State program “Cultivando nuestras raíces” (cultivating our roots), which seeks to strengthen local neighbourhoods. The temporal structure is dedicated to the daily work of local craftsmen, whose diversity is exhibited inside the pavilion.

“To be part of the daily life helps finding ourselves; from here identity can emerge. The daily craft turns into a reflection on what we are as an entity of our environment and our daily encounters that value all forms of activity.
